Floral Notes
This beautiful soft-pink rose was introduced in 2002 by David Austin Roses. The honour of naming the rose was auctioned on behalf of The National Trust to raise funds for the maintenance and restoration of the gardens under the custodianship of the trust. It was bought by Theresa Sackler for her husband Mortimer Sackler's birthday.
The pale pink rose is a symbol of happiness, everlasting joy, youthfulness and love. It conveys a message of friendship, thankfulness and affection.
Roses are the flowers traditionally given for a 15th wedding anniversary.
